Mkolani Foundation Health Sciences Training Institute was established in the year 2016 with an aim to provide training, consultancy and conducting research in different health disciplines and related field for provision of quality health services .

MFHSTI is the best and among the leading professional health training institution in Tanzania. It is fully registered (REG/HAS/169) and recognized by The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) and The Ministry of Health and Social welfare to award certificate level in nursing programe and Community health programe.

Mkolani Foundation Health Science Training Institute(MFHSTI) treats each individual student as a peculiar subject whose presence identifies the achievements and failures to the training atmosphere of the school
 
It is an obligation of the college academicians to address and design the educational training that impacts/induces skills and knowledge leading to empowerment of the graduates as to be adaptive to the global diversity.
 
Our Institute prepares quality nurse health care providers through excellence in education, research, clinical practice, leadership, administration and health care policy. Graduates collaborate with other professionals and consumers in the delivery of safe holistic health care and advocate for the improvement of that outcome. The faculty believes learning is a continuance life long process and personal responsibility. Students are actively engaged in the learning process to acquire clinical proficiency and to be socialized in to professional roles. Learning experiences are implemented to achieve sequence, continuity and synthesis of knowledge and expertise – as defined by the educational outcomes. Teaching and learning are dynamic processes involving curriculum evaluation and revision based on research evidence..
 
We prepare nurses who care for individuals, families and communities in promoting that, reducing risk, preventing disease, managing illness and supporting clients in all phases of living and dying. This process is based on unique knowledge skills and attitudes that incorporate the professional values of caring, respect and a commitment to social justice. With support for the dignity of the individual, advocacy for one’s right to self – determined care as an individual family members and members of society.
